Historical study on modern and present-day educational activities
This research group focuses on empirical reorganization and examination of educational activities based on historical materials in modern times. These resources include both text and non-text records (e.g., pictures, photographs and sound) as well as goods and sights. It is individual researchers who ultimately find resources and determine which ones are important and which facts are valuable. Questions they have will guide them to new resources, which will in turn improve the quality of the new questions they raise. This is also an ongoing activity to reconsider common sense and generally accepted views on education.
