Career education at universities, relationship between education and careers, and other matters
Since Japan has no particular natural resources and possesses only human resources, it is essential to nurture human resources in the country’s knowledge-based society. Accordingly, human resource development through the enhancement of education is more important than ever, and is a necessary addition to human resource development by private enterprises, which is also important.
From this perspective, this research group focuses on the role of career education at universities, effects of education in human resource development, the relationship between higher education and industrial society, and other topics. These studies are conducted in consideration of recent changes in the socioeconomic environment and the labor market.
