Developmental processes that lead to problematic behavior
Puberty, problematic behavior
Referred to as a second birth, puberty is a developmental period in which children undergo significant changes. My research interests lie in what happens to children during this period, what they feel during the changes they undergo and how they achieve these changes.
In particular, I focus on puberty as a development process that may produce a variety of problems, such as delinquency, bullying, truancy and social withdrawal, and hope to solve this enigma. I am currently engaged in the following studies:
(1) Basic study on changes in the body, thought and awareness during puberty and related developmental processes
(2) Applied study on the occurrence and maintenance of problematic behavior during puberty
(3) Practical study on changes in relationships between children and adults during puberty from the viewpoint of re-establishment of the legitimacy of the through student guidance
