Phenomenological and practical studies on childhood learning and related evaluation
Education provides children with opportunities to learn and grow and to relate to adults and other children in complex ways. Accordingly, to ensure rich learning opportunities for children and their sound growth, it is necessary to view childhood learning from broad perspectives by also paying attention to ideal relationships between children and adults and among children. Another important point is that the role of adults who evaluate how well children learn significantly affects childhood learning.
In this way, the research group seeks to view experiences of children and adults in educational settings as faithfully as possible (phenomenological approach). It also works to clarify the role of adults and their involvement with children (practical approach) to provide children with rich learning opportunities and ensure their sound growth.
