I am currently engaged in studies in two separate fields. One is regarding changes in the labor market for new high school graduates and resulting changes in career guidance principles. The other is regarding high school students’ consciousness about themselves and their future careers. Based on the results of these studies, I consider what types of problems have been caused by the relaxation of the school-mediated job search system.
